One day each year, the day of our birth, is set aside as special - a day of recognizing the number of days and months and years we have inhaled the breath of life on this earth.

It is, or should be, a day of assessment; a day to decide if celebration is in order - a celebration of the knowing a year has been fulfilled with growing, learning and serving others.

It can also be a day of beginning - a starting point on the path which will lead to completion as a soul as well as contentment, and yes, happiness, as a being in this life.

Feel and know that you are a special human being who has been granted many talents.

My wish for you on this special day is for you to reach all the pinnacles of life and being; that you will know success, first as a soul, but then in all things in which you endeavour.

A birthday salutation is a salute and I do salute you for having spent the years becoming what you are today, always seeking a better way.

A word of caution on this your day, don't get so caught up in monetary success and ambition that you forget the real values of life which have no price tag.
